Eligibility Criteria for CISF Recruitment: 

 

Qualification:  The candidates must have passed 12th Class or equivalent qualification from recognized Board/University with Science Subject on or before the closing date of receipt of online Application Form.

Age Limit: Between 18-23 years as of the closing date for receipt of the online Applications Form (i.e. 04/03/2022). Candidates should not have been born earlier than 05/03/1999 and later than 04/03/2004.

Age Relaxation:  05 years for SC/ST category candidates & 03 years for OBC category candidates.

Application fee: 

• 100/- for General/ OBC/ EWS category candidates.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.

Selection Process:

Eligibility Criteria for CISF Sports Quota Recruitment:

 

Qualification: – 12th pass from a recognized educational Institution with credit of representing State/ National/ International in games, Sports, and Athletics.

Salary: – Pay Matrix Level-4 (Rs.25,500-81,100/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time.

Age Limit: – Between 18 to 23 years as of 01.08.2021. (The candidate should not have been born, earlier than 02.08.1998 and later than 01.08.2003)

Age Relaxation: – Relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ST and up to 03 years for OBC candidates. Relaxable up to 40 years in the case of departmental candidates as of 01.08.2021.

Physical Standard: –

EYE Sight: –

a) Visual Acuity unaided (Near vision) – (Better eye – N6) (Worse eye – N9)
b) Uncorrected visual acuity (Distant vision) – (Better eye – 6/6) (Worse eye – 6/9)
c) Refraction – Visual correction of any kind is not permitted even by glasses.
d) Color vision – CP-III BY ISIHARA
e) In a right-handed person, the Right eye is a better eye and vice versa.
f) Binocular vision is required.

Weight: – Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards for male and female candidates. Weight will be recorded at the time of physical measurement but the decision on fitness on account of weight will be taken at the time of medical examination.

TATTOO: – Following criteria has been fixed to determine the permissibility of Tattoo –

• Content: – Being a secular country, the religious sentiments of our countrymen are to be respected, and thus, tattoos depicting religious symbols or figures and the name, as followed in the Indian Army are to be permitted.
• Location: – Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm but only left forearm, being non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed.
• Size: – Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.
